Marketing grade names help buyers navigate. ASTM D4956 Type is a performance classification confirmed per SKU. “Diamond Grade” is a 3M trademark and is not used as our category name.
Engineer grade
Typically glass-bead construction for commercial and general signing. Cost-effective; confirm Type on the TDS.
High intensity prismatic (HIP)
Prismatic constructions for brighter regulatory and warning signs. Procurement queries often use HIP or high intensity prismatic.
Microprismatic high performance
Higher-performance cube-corner products for demanding geometries. Exact Type and RA tables stay per SKU.
